...friends, family, scary nights and CRAWFISH...

Last night we had a crawfish boil with all our closet friends and family! I love crawfish boils because its what starts summer for me. Its a time were we can all get together laugh talk and just have a good time! As you can see from the photo above my dad is have a good time with that crawfish in his mouth. Oh and by the way Kat I hope you don't mind me taking these pics off your blog my camera died on my last night. :(

After the boil Lucas, Cheryl, Mason and I decided to go to the movies to see The Haunting In Connecticut. MAN! It was a little scary and I am not one to get scared easily. I Jumped quite a few times! It was a good night can't wait for the rest of the weekend! Loves!

Well today I get the day off to spend time with Kru, even though I would have loved to go into work today so I could make some Crawfish Ettoufee... YUM! Oh well maybe next Friday I'll get lucky! Hey everyone! I first just want to start by apologizing to everyone that I have been getting an attitude with lately. I just have been a little grumpy and tired. But I assure you that I have some good reasons that I will keep to myself for a few more days.

All I want to do is crawl up into this bed and take a nap that last for ages. This bed reminds me of a bed that I use to have when I was a little girl. I loved it! Night everyone!

I know this is kinda a late post but I have to post it sometime because I wanted to share it with everyone!! Last Sunday me and the family pack up and went down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Yes, it was COLD, and long but it was well worth it! It was Kallee and Kru's first Mardi Gras experience and man was it a good one. They got a lot of beads, coins and a lot of good memories. It was also the first time that Lucas, Mason, and I went to New Orleans we normally go to Biloxi so this was a experience as well. The roads were packed, the people were amazing, and the feel was phenomenal, there is nothing like a group of people getting together every year to relive a tradition.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the day! It is of my brothers and I. I love my brothers so much! We have our moments when we fight and bicker but at the end of the day we all love each other then the day before and I am so happy for that.

...Memphis aint a bad town, for them that like city life...

This weekend my brother Mason, my daddy, and I went up to Memphis for an Old Crow Medicine Show concert. Oh we had a blast! A little bit to much fun for one weekend. When I get together with both of them MAN, someone has to call the police on us. It was fun..it was a good road trip, not to long (even though I did ALL the driving). We went to downtown Memphis on Beale Street..it was one a couple blocks from our hotel which was pretty nice. The picture above is of Mason, and my dad in front of Gibson Factory..Mason was upset that he wasn't able to get in so they told me to take a picture instead..it worked out!

I just loved the look of the Red Rooster so I took a picture of the sign. They have some pretty tasty food I might add. And I also liked it because it reminded me of my Kru. We call him Krooster the Rooster..thought it was cute.

Here is Mason and my dad at the OCMS concert. We got there early, so, we started making fun of all the drunks and pot heads..Mason looked like one of the pot heads..I got some pictures but I am not going to post those right now..

Well, I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day! Mine was going perfect, just wonderful until 7:13 p.m. this evening! You see I was going to The Pastry Garden to go get my laundry and on my way home I see a police car behind me. I didn't think anything about it until I turned my blinker on and I see lights flashing in my rear view mirror! So I pull over and he says "Ma'am you have an expired tag.." I think SHOOT! I knew it was expired but I mean come on who really has time to go get one and who really remembers when the tag expires..I mean you don't look at your tag everyday saying "Oh I have to go get that done next month" OK well at least I don't. So yeah I got a ticket for that. Oh but that is not all! I got a ticket for no proof of insurance. YES! I have insurance, its just that I just renewed it this month..and I forgot to print out that little receipt thingy.. So, I have to appear in court Feb. 24th at 8:30 in the morning I will not be a very happy camper that morning! Well, I thought I would share my little happenings with you! My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.

Here it goes another long afternoon...I am dreading the long afternoon ahead of me when I get to spends hours (ok, ok, maybe not hours) cleaning my room. AHHHH, someone please save me and take me to a world where cleaning DOES mean looking at a room with a glance, where people are happy with who they really are, and where drama is a sin. Ok maybe I am over reacting just a tad but wouldn't it be nice! I am being forced to clean me room if I want to go on my wonderful little trip to Memphis this weekend, and honey let me just tell ya that I am NOT going to miss this trip! I know I know I haven't been a great blogger the past couple of months but I am turning over a new leaf! I decided to start blogging again since it was the last thing I could at night to relieve my stress, happiness, thoughts and so many other things. Well, last night, I got to enjoy He's Just Not That Into You, along with my wonderful friend Kat and about a dozen or so women, who laughed together and shared "that happened to me" moments for a great hour and a half. And let me just state for the record that there were come guys in there as well.

It was quite a night, not only because of the long anticipated chick flick, which was supposed to recreate the Sex & The City experience, but also the fact that a theater was mostly female. This was another proof we can create box office hits, and girls night out to the movie theater becomes the favorite Friday night event among many women.

I was a good movie and I am very pleased that I got to share it with Kat! If you get the chance go see it or rent it if you would like! Kat, thanks for inviting me! Have a good Wednesday everyone!

Yesterday afternoon, I had one of the best afternoons I had in awhile! Kat invited Kallee, Kru and me to go see Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It was such a cute movie. I sure that the kids loved it!

I always look for moments like these when I can not only spend time with my brother and sister but when I can spend a wonderful afternoon with a dear friend, and that is the REAL treasure.

I'm Home!!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been blogging lately. I just recently got home from California and everything has been a mess! I started back to work at the Pastry Garden Thursday and every sense then I have been working my tail off! Any who, coming back home means coming back to more drama, which personally I am getting sick of. I am always in the middle of everyday and that is always not fun! Yesterday I was reading through a magazine ( the New Era) and I came across a quote that everyone should keep in mind as they go through their life, even me! Jacket at the beach?

Well Saturday, we went to Half Moon Bay. The guys went golfing while the girls and the kids went to the beach. The water was freezing but that didn't stop the kids from getting into the water. I had to wear a jacket on the beach that is crazy!

This is my cousin Aubrey (right next to me) her cousin McKenna (giving us bunny ears) and me!We had a great time that day!

This was the ugly Jellyfish that was on the beach. There were tons of them up and down the beach. I touched it! It was really gross, I didn't want to touch it but wonderful Joe put my hand on it..gross! It was interesting in a gross kinda way.

My cousin Aubrey found this crab shell when it was washed it up to shore. That was a cool find. She wanted to keep it but there was a little creature on the back of it so we wanted to put it back in the water! Also, I found a dead Sea lion on the beach, I think you know why I didn't take a picture of it. It was really sad I seriously almost cried.

Take me out to the ball game...

Well Saturday night we went to the Oakland A's game. We had somem pretty good seats! We were on the 30th row from the bottom! I was so happy that I got to go because it has been a long time since I had been to a Pro baseball game. I just love baseball.

So the A's played the Angels. Man was that an interesting game. We sat in the middle of a group of Angels haha that was funny, just because my uncle is such a A's fan. Well in the middle of the game all the kids wanted to go to the fun zone (its just a cute little place were kids can color and just get about from the game because you know kids can get bored at a baseball game) so the moms took the kids there and it was just me all alone with the guys.

So my daddy calls me in the 5th inning and says to me that he just saw me on ESPN! I had my 5 secs of fame! I was so excited. I got to be seen all over the world how exciting was that?

Busy, Busy, Busy

So, I am having a blast in California! We have been super busy lately! My uncles sister and family came into town last week and so we did a lot of site seeing. The picture above is of Lake Tahoe, I just think that picture is beautiful, and I took it! Lake Tahoe is so pretty! The house we stayed at was perfect. I wish I could have stayed there longer, but I guess I had to leave sometime.

We also went to San Fransisco. It was SO COLD! Now I'm from the south, and it is HOT in the south, so I was kinda cold. I'm glad I got to go there it was a good experience.

Fisherman's Wharf! It was so cool, although it was crowed! I took this picture from the restaurant of the sour dough place, I can't remember the name. But they have come pretty good sour dough bread. They take the bread and they can make animals out of it, too cute. At the restaurant I had the I guess "famous" calm chowder of San Fransisco. It was pretty good I might say.
That was a really good day for me!

My first REAL taste of California

Well, today I went to In-N-Out and all the stuff that people tell me about this place is true! Everything was great! Its not just your typical fast food burger, its all made to order and its delish! I'm glad I went, I'm going to have to go back sometime soon. Thanks guys for introducing it to me! *LoVeS*

A day of goodbye's

Well, today I said my last goodbye's to my family and some of my dear friends (sorry if I didn't come by and see you but i was really busy). I had to say goodbye today because i wouldn't have time to go tomorrow seeing that I am leaving for California tomorrow. I'm so scared to go to California but super excited at the same time.

I went and said goodbye to my best friend Hannah today. It was really hard saying goodbye. I almost cried, well actually I did cry when I got in the car. She has been there for me through thick and thin. She is an amazing person and I just want her to realize that.

Its that time again!

So. Its that time of the year again. BBQ, fireworks, and family reunions. Each year on the 4th of July we have our Trussell Family Reunion. The Trussell's make up half the city of Hattiesburg so we go out to this big farm in Columbia and have a huge part I shall say. I think this is a great way to spend my last day in Mississippi, just with my family. I can't wait to go tomorrow i think it will be fun. I hope yall have a great time tomorrow on the 4Th! When the sun goes down...

Well last night i had a fabulous night with the best kids! I babysat my mom and dads friends children, Olivia and Harper! They are the cutest kids and very nice, polite and they even obey! What more can you ask for when you are babysitting...it was amazing! We had to much fun...watching cartoons, reading books, and playing one of my favorite board games Sorry! I had a blast!

This is Olivia isn't she adorable! Her and my little brother Kru go to the same pre-school! She is only 2 but has a mind of her own! She is very dependent! SHE was the boss of the night, and what a night that was!

And this is Master Harper...that is what i HAD to call him ha ha... he is 7 and is all boy! He is the sport fan of the family and is very talented! Him and I had a blast playing on the X-Box 360 of his. He was the hard on to try to go to sleep last night he kept trying to stall and it was pretty funny... after Olivia went to bed he and I decided we would treat ourselves to a little ice cream party and boy was that a interesting treat for the both of us! But after that persuasion of ice cream and 3 books I finally got him to go to bed.

This picture is my favorite I wish all brothers and sisters acted this way..all loving and caring...but i know that it wont be long before they cant stand each other but at least i got this picture so i can prove to them that one day they loved each other! This was right before Olivia had to go to bed! I allowed them to watch a little T.V. but shh...don't tell there parents. Over all i thought last night was a hit! They are so cute and i cant wait to watch them again! The parents called me this morning and were like "What did you do?!" I started freaking out like i didn't something wrong... Then they said "They wont stop talking about you!" I just laughed! *LoVeS*

So the Young Men and the Young Women went bowling tonight and gee that was fun! I am so happy we went we all had a blast! Everyone did awesome, even if that had never did it before! I wish I could go more, I really miss it. I hope Kat doesn't mind me stealing some pictures off her blog since my camera died in the middle of our game oh well.

Well it sure if summertime in the good ole south, and you can certainly feel it. Kru (my cute little brother) and I were chillin' by the pool today and in this cute little voice said "Taylor can I have a Popsicle?" I mean how could I have said no. So we got one and man was it refreshing ha!

My good friend Kat just informed me that P. Diddy just changed his name BACK to Puff Daddy! I think this is funny because Kat and I just had a conversation about this the other day. Now I think that Puff Daddy needs to stop changing names honestly, it is just getting old and really annoying. I am if he keeps changing he name every other year then he will just have to leave his "Hello my name is" tag blank.

Now I just want to give a personal shot out to "Puff Daddy"...STOP CHANGING YOUR NAME! IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN COOL THE FIRST TIME BUT NOW IT IS JUST GETTING OLD!

Slumber Party Time = Fun!!

Last night I went to Kat's house to have a slumber party with the Young Women! It was so much fun! They surprised me when they told me that it was a little graduation party. Man was a surprised!

We watched movies. We watched My Best Friends Wedding, Notting Hill, and While You Were Sleeping. They were really good even though me and Kat hit the hay during the second movie. Hannah and Ashleigh managed to get through all 3 of them and going to bed around 2 that morning crazy!

Hey yall!! So this past week has been a stressful put interesting week! Well i graduated Sunday! I am so happy that it is finially over! But now it just meens the real world :/ oh well! Well as a graduation present my mommy got my a camera i am so happy! Kat and I have been talking about how i need a camera before i make my journey to California and I got it! So my friend Kat has been begging me to start blogging again and i really wanted to show off my pictures so i thought i would start again! These pictures are from last week, i took graduation pictures with a good friend of my Suzanne! It was fun! I went downtown which i love. we started at the train depot and then went to some back alley. A little scary but alot of fun!

This was the first picture we took i was sitting on the ledge at the train depot..i think this is the very first picture the test shot. I like it I think this one might be the one i send in the invitation for graduation i dont know:/
This one is by far my favorite one! Suzanne told me to pose and i just struck one! I love it in black and white and with the train behind me! I want to blow it up and put it on my wall but i highly doubt my mom will let me..I might just do it and not tell her and just suffer the consquences he he he;)
This one i love as well i dont know why i just love head shots! this was the start of the back alley downtown it was funny! My mom wants this one to go in the graduation invitations but i just dont know whether to pick the first one or this one oh well i have to figure it out soon i need to get them out!

This one was the last one of the day and i shall say that it was a good way to end the day! I like the fact that i have my shades on lol!
